Azazie Bridesmaid Dress Color Comparisons – Which is Which?
Choosing bridesmaid dresses’ colors online can sometimes feel like a giant guessing game. Does that color really look that bright in person? How much does this color differ from the other one? What will this bridesmaid dress look like in the evening versus during the day? And which colors go best together?
It can be hard to figure out the answers to these questions when you are looking at one picture of a model on your computer. That’s why in this blog post we put some of our most popular Azazie bridesmaid dress colors next to one another, so you can more easily see the difference.
Keep in mind that screen resolutions can change the way colors appear, so we still recommend ordering swatches so you can see the color in person, but we hope this post will help narrow down your choices.
Burgundy vs Cabernet
Burgundy and cabernet are both deep red tones. They can each successfully create an enchanting and romantic atmosphere for your wedding. However, there are some important differences between the two that you should consider. Note that the burgundy bridesmaid dress has a brighter and redder tone, while the cabernet bridesmaid dress provides a richer and darker color with a touch of purple. Azazie customers often choose one or the other, but they can also look beautiful together.

Lilac vs Lavender
Lilac and lavender often look very similar at first glance, but their subtle differences can make a big impact on the overall feel of your wedding day. Both colors are light purples that bring out a flowery and delicate femininity. Lilac bridesmaid dresses fashion a slightly warmer tone allowing it to go along nicely with multiple shades of pink, and is perfect for a spring or summer wedding. Lavender bridesmaid dresses, in contrast, have a cooler tone that allows them to fit into a blue color palette and would be better during the colder months in winter and fall.
Lavender prom dresses, with their cooler tone, seamlessly blend into a blue color palette and are ideal for the colder months in winter and fall. Lavender bridesmaid dresses, similarly, complement a blue color palette and are better suited for the cooler months of winter and fall.

Sky Blue vs Mist
It can be very easy to mistake sky blue for mist when looking at a photograph, but the colors are far from the same. Sky blue is more pigmented, and is overall a bluer color. Mist is lighter and has underlying gray tones that mute the blue’s brightness. While sky blue bridesmaid dresses are lovely with a variety of pure-toned colors, mist bridesmaid dresses go beautifully with dusty colors and work as a nice neutral for a range of color palettes.

Dusty Rose vs Vintage Mauve vs Dusk

Dusty rose, vintage mauve, and dusk are all within the same color families, allowing them to go very well with one another. Azazie customers love mixing and matching these colors to create all sorts of color spectrum. Dusty rose bridesmaid dresses can be used as a gentle neutral, or as a rich addition. Vintage mauve bridesmaid dresses are very similar, but encompass a slightly darker and warm purple undertone. A vintage dress in mauve will give you a very retro and glamorous look for the wedding. Dusk bridesmaid dresses are close to gray bridesmaid dresses but maintain a soft purple undertone that can cool down a warm color palette or warm up a cooler color palette. Put all three together to create a warm evening sky look.

Pearl Pink vs. Blushing Pink
Pearl pink bridesmaid dresses and blushing pink bridesmaid dresses appear nearly identical on the screen, but in person they are very different. While blushing pink is a light, summery, baby pink; pearl pink takes on a warmer tone and looks closer to a light peach. Both shades combine easily with other Azazie colors, but do not always work well together. Azazie customers often find themselves choosing one or the other to finish off their color palette.

Peacock vs Ink Blue

Peacock and ink blue are in the blue-green family and compliment one another beautifully. Peacock bridesmaid dress is greener than ink blue bridesmaid dress, but still maintains a strong blue tinge. Ink blue airs on the side of a dark blue but has an unmistakable green tone. These colors are rich and will bring a vibrant hue to your wedding day.

Hello, this color comparison is very helpful! My daughter likes the new color “desert rose” for her bridesmaids. Can you please tell us which palette would complement this color? Also, I am shopping for mother of bride dress as well. So far I like the colors steel gray, hazelnut, dusk, and dusty rose. What would be the best complement to desert rose or do you have another suggestion? Thank you!
