Giving Back with Azazie

We all need to clean out our closets once in awhile and what better way to recycle and give back to the community than to donate our lovely dresses to those in need?

At Azazie, we’re doing our part. We routinely clean out our dress closet and donate sample dresses of all colors and sizes to local charities. In 2015, Azazie partnered with Dress for Success and Brides for a Cause to donate over a total 370 dresses to give back to our community.

Dress for Success is part of a global movement of empowering women to break the cycle of poverty and obtain better and safer futures. At Dress for Success, their program is geared toward providing low-income women with professional attire for job interviews and their careers! Not only are these women given a new outfit, but the Dress for Success program helps them gain a confidence boost and provides important career development. At Azazie, we love that Dress for Success helps empower women and promote individual beauty.

Brides for a Cause works with Wish Upon A Wedding to help couples facing life-altering circumstance or serious illness achieve their dream wedding. It can be daunting for couples in these situations to plan their perfect weddings on top of excessive health care costs, time-consuming doctor’s appointments and more. Brides for a Cause collects wedding dresses 2010 and newer to resell and raise funds for their mission. There’s no doubt that we love weddings here at Azazie and we especially love that our donated dresses are helping so many others have their dream wedding!

Both these organizations have an amazing mission of empowering women and helping them accomplish their dreams and goals. Azazie is thrilled our dresses will be put to good use. We can’t wait to see all these powerful women rocking Azazie!
