Real #Azazie Wedding | Dani + Kellie

Q: How did you and your partner meet, and how did you know they were the one?

Kellie and I met in college, we both played on the women’s rugby team. I was a freshman when she was a junior. I knew she was the one because we have so much fun together and complement each other perfectly.

Q: How did he/she propose to you?

Kellie brought me back to the town we met in and took me out to dinner. While we waited for our reservation, she wanted to go for a walk, but kept mentioning that she had a stomachache (so I kept offering to go home early! 😂). However, she insisted, so we did. She stopped me on the sidewalk in front of one of our favorites spots, a gazebo in town, and got down on one knee. I had no idea and was so surprised! She even had 2 of our friends hiding in the gazebo to get photos of it all.

Q: Who was the most nervous on the big day?

Definitely Kellie!

Q: If you could relive any moment during your wedding day what would it be?

Kellie: Seeing Dani in her dress for the first time. She looked so beautiful!

Dani: Our first dance. I surprised Kellie by having her younger sister sing our first dance song (Bright by Echosmith). It all turned out perfectly.  

Q: Celebrating your big day means making tons of decisions. What was your favorite part of the planning experience?

Picking out all the little details together, like decorations, accessories, etc, and seeing how it all came together. It really was everything we hoped it would be!

We also loved working with our photographers. They were amazing and captured our day perfectly!

Q: What inspired you to choose your wedding colors/theme?

We knew that we wanted some shades of blue and pink, so we ordered samples from the Azazie website. After looking at them together we were able to pick the perfect pair of colors.

Q: How did you decide on your wedding venue?

We knew we wanted a rustic style for our venue, and we had a family member who was renovating her barn into the perfect space for us!

Q: Why did you choose Azazie to be a part of your special day?

We knew we wanted all the same color for our bridal parties, but everyone to have a different dress that they loved! A friend had told me about Azazie and once we saw all the color and dress options we knew it would be perfect! We were even able to order ties and bow ties in the same shade for some of our wedding party!

Q: What was your favorite part of your Azazie experience?

It was such a stress relief to able to order all of the dresses and ties and not have to worry about all the colors not matching. It all turned out perfectly and we could not have been happier.

Q: Do you have any tips for our readers who are planning a wedding?

Little things will almost definitely go wrong, but you’ll remember it as all being perfect.

Q: Do you have anything else you’d like to add?

We would 100% recommend Azazie to anyone looking for bridesmaids dresses! We could not have been happier with the result for our big day.
